Should I set up an Ebay account?

Post by grim_tales »

Hey,

How do you set up an E-Bay accont? It might be easier for me to flog old DVDs and other stuff that way :D There are also some great bargains on there.
Looking at IronMonkey's thread (with Zelda N64) for sale, reminded me of old N64 games, on EBay you can find the classic Goldeneye/Perfect Dark 99p or something :o I'm sure 'Cube games will be cheaper too.

I shouldnt have sold my old n64 games

just go to the site and register don't know if you have to supply credit card details as a security measure despite a lot of ebay bashing i've bought and sold loads on it with not much hassle and have a feedback rating of well over 1000:D

I have an ebay account but have never sold anything as of yet. I get put off by hearing stories about some people taking ages to pay, and taking the piss and such-like.

Tell them how much you paid for E.T Romero. Are you sitting down guys? :P

I'd definitely recommend an account to buy and when you're ready sell to. I don't bother (as I'm lazy) selling DVDs. I only sell a few so am happy to trade them.

I thought the 1982 version was rare because Speilberg had "replaced" it with the 2002 version. Or do you get to see both of the versions on the SE?

All E.T.dvds no matter where they are from are rare, as they went OOP ages ago and they wont reprint them, if you have the film its worth more than you paid I would guess :) check Ebay and look to see if your dvd is on there and I am sure if it is, its gonna be worth more than an average second hand dvd :)

The HK dvd I am selling is shite, it only has the digitally messed up version of the film on it, but it still sells like HotPorn! :D
