CD-WOW Xmas present!!!

Post by demented_uk »

And here we go again, more CD-WOW money off. The link below is apparently a "Xmas present" from CD-WOW, it will take you to a page where you click another link and it will reduce the site by a certain amount, anything between 10p and £5. I managed to get a whopping 25p off and most people are reporting that are getting no more than £1 off.

It seems vouchers can be used twice. I guess they don't expire straight away:

http://www.readroot.com/archive/t-128643.html

It still seems pointless considering there is an ever lasting supply of £1 vouchers.

Interesting reading on this thread at the avforums.

Seems that a lot of the links are being removed !

Interesting read F_Drew, especially:

"Ours and many other affiliate links have all been cancelled

The MD of Cd-wow removed them all without telling anyone. That's why they stopped working suddenly."

And:

"Hi Guys

I've just spoken to the UK office manager and she doesn't know anything about links being cancelled. She's going to talk to the directors and the marketing department to see if it's something specific or just a coding error.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Mark
CD-WOW!"

And:

"It's certainly not a coding error. MSE were specifically told that the links were being cancelled because CD-WOW felt they were no longer in their best interest."

It looks like the remainder of the vouchers maybe cancelled :( . I guess £1.60 for CDs/Games and £2 for DVDs is decent (while it lasts).

p.s - Contrary to the last post in that link the 75p voucher doesn't work.

Working voucher links

Post by demented_uk »

Hi all,

Here's a working £1 off link:

http://www5.cd-wow.com/index.php?affid=14681&pp_nr=1

And for a £1 voucher use this link:

www.cd-wow.com/pepsimax

When it asks you for code make sure you put this in: 5437 GXWZ 16P8 513Q.

A fantastic £2 off!

If these links don't work just clear your temporary internet files and try again.

Enjoy...

Thanks Demented. Those links are great, where did you find them?

We already have a £1 voucher "link" BUT it only works with DVDs making this one even better. I'll update the e-tailors page now.

Cheers again.

p.s - If only we could find that free CD or £2 off code!

Oh for the days of the £3 off voucher :D I managed to get £2 off when I bought Bourne Supremacy, some of my older vouchers (£3.99 one, Loreal one) didnt work. :(

There is hundreds of these Pepsi-Max cards in my canteen at work. I took 5 and all have £1 vouchers with the same code. I was tempted to take the lot. No one else wanted them.

But I didn't of course :P . I bet knowing my luck there was a £2 and free CD voucher.

Brad, yeah I got £2 off - £1 site discount + £1 e-voucher :)

Yeah those older vouchers must have expired but IronMonkey said once you have used a voucher, keep it as CD-WOW seem to refresh them occassionally and they work again. He had a £1.50 voucher that was expired from ages ago but he used it and it worked.

Nope they dont work anymore at all, I mean the link not the voucher codes, the link works no more for me on any PC or anyopne else I told to use it and I know how to work them all by now :)

try getting the 1 quid link to knock a quid off above, it doesnt. 50p ones do mind you.

Strange anyway as CDWOW seem to be stopping all vouchers, out of maybe 13 that I had working, about 2 work now :( bugger
