How about a "DVD Comparison"-subforum ?

Hey guys, I was thinking:

Lately we've had lots of picture comparisons (Azumi 2 - Dragon Inn - Ashes of Time...) and we don't really have a place for them.

That's too bad, especially since most of us know how to take screencaps (and we have a picture hosting system right here on Bullets).

So how about a DVD Comparison subforum ?
Somewhere between "Asian Film/DVD Discussion" and "General Film/DVD Discussion".

-We'd establish some rules for quality-control.
-We'd have 1 thread per film.
-We'd have some kind of DVD comparison database (like DVDBeaver, only better

).
-Everyone would contribute by posting caps from time to time.

Whaddya think ?

It would be an easy way to find information about DVD releases IMO.

Yeah, that would be cool. If users have enough time, maybe they could contribute the large screenshots of the guessed films in the DVD Mystere threads to the forum?

Good idea. I don't have much time but can quickly add it in.

I was thinking it would be better to rename "Reviews" to "Reviews & DVD Comparisons". What do you guys think?

The "Review" forum only has 73 threads and only 1 that really ever gets used. It seems a bit overkill is all to add a whole new thread.

And since those DVD comparisons would be kinda like "mini-reviews", they'd fit in just fine.

I've got several comparisons ready to be uploaded.
Just say the word, rename the subforum and "boom": I'm there.
