Need help identifying a film! (I think)

Hey,
One of the Simpsons Halloween episodes (Treehouse of Horror XII, I think) featured a segment called "House of Whacks" where a computer (voiced by Pierce Brosnan) falls in love with Marge and tries to kill Homer. What film/book etc is that a parody of? I know there was the sinister computer called HAL in 2001 - A Space Oddessy (1968) but I dont think its that.

Interestingly, Paper Mario 2 on the Gamecube has exactly the same parody (kind of) in it (no, really).

What is it a take off from?

Is it Demon Seed?

In that one, I think a computer or android falls in love/lust with Julie Christie and tries to impregnate her? Or maybe Saturn 6, where a android/cyborg thingie falls in lust with Farrah Fawcett?

From what you've said maybe it is Demon Seed. If it is its very clever, something most "kids" (Nintendo's supposed target auidence) are likely to miss
