Nope. Hinduism also allows you to believe in whatever God/religion you wish.

Yup. The only real distinction is that Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he wasn't resurrected; Muslims believe there was a switcheroo at the crucifixion. He was a prophet, like the other thousands'.

one thing is true of all religeons - the majority of people who believe in that religeon believe everyone else who follows the religeon believes in pretty muc hthe same thing. The irony is i've never met two people (who dont directly know each other) that are members of the same religeon that believe in the same things. My experiences in the area now cover many muslims, church of england, catholicism, evangelist, scientology, and mormonism all quite deeply and 'just a few' people from other religeons including hinduism, buddhism, nihilism (though the idea of that as a religeon is worthy of an entire new thread), judeism (sp?).

anyway, that aside christianity gets the piss taken out of it simply because it is considered a western religeon, in the same way it is seemingly ok for Irish to make derogitory jokes about other Irish, Black people can call each other derogitory names - Christianity is seen as the general western religeon (Im not for a minute claiming it is, just that that is the perception) and as such people see no problem taking the piss out of it if they are westerners themselves.
