OK, let's see:
What do 68Monkey and Grim have in common ?

A. They both stink at DVD Mystère.
B. There's 1 specific thread in which they can't post.

Mordib ! What did you do to them ?!

Hey! I resent that! :D Considering how late I entered the game, I think I've done quite well, thank you! :P Besides, given my age, I've probably seen more movies than everybody else . . . just not the same ones you all have seen, apparently.

More random facts: Rene Descartes was born today in 1596.

And did you know that Denmark used to own the Virgin Islands? That is, until 1917 this day they did. Then the US bought them.

I don't get it, either. It definitely had to do with the specific text I was typing, as it would accept any other text just fine. Then, when I tried to write the "forbidden" text in a different thread, it did the same thing. Very bizarre, but now I know I can't make certain kitty-cat related jokes. :D

Happy April Fools' Day! :bom:

Okay, just fooling around. It's only All Fool's Day in the U.K. We still have nearly three hours to go here in the U.S.

I played a simple little prank on my sister, which worked a treat. She has absolutely loads of documents on her Powerbook desktop. So, I took a screengrab of said desktop when she left the room to take care of her wailing baby and then moved all the documents into a folder and labelled it 'Prank'. I then sat back and watched as she attempted to double-click PDF files and Word documents to no avail.
She's currently working on her Masters dissertation and she began to freak out because her machine was seemingly not responding, with all her work on it. I even offered her advice like attempting to restart the machine. She was about to lose it until I pointed out the little folder I'd created. She then just punched me.
It's all a matter of timing. :D

You're right, that's not a prank, but still very funny! :D
Course, for me, that'd be tantamount to suicide... :)

Hmm, my county's under a tornado watch right now. Rather frighteningly dark and windy outdoors. :(

I'll check in again either when this blows over, or when I land in Oz.

So what you guys up to this weekend? I'm driving down to Glasgow tonight, going out with my uni buds. Tomorrow I'm gonna go shopping and watch some movies at the Glasgow UGC (best cinema in the world). Then on Sunday, I'm going on a hillwalking expedition to Loch Nagar. Most event packed weekend ever or what? Can anyone top that? Unlikely... :D

My girlfriend is coming over, as always... so we'll probably just go shopping and maybe watch a movie or whatever. She's been acting whiney and insecure (cause I'm totally hot obviously) all week, so we'll probably also have a fight... although I certainly hope not. She can make a fuss out of nothing. Really annoying.

When that happens, I usually say this: (with a chinese accent)
"Sorry, me no speak french".
And if they insist:
"Fuck you frenchie, Me chinese ! Me know Kung-Fu ! Bruce Lee ! You know Bruce Lee ?! "

Problem solved.

They are exactly the same here in New Hampshire, and i agree its very annoying. One time the manager at my former job was having a stressful day, and completly flipped on one of them in the middle of the crowded mall. Pretty much yelling at the top of his lungs.. "WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME HAND CREAM!? DO I LOOK LIKE I NEED HAND CREAM TO YOU!!?? YOU KNOW I WORK AT THAT STORE RIGHT OVER THERE, YOU SEE ME EVERY DAY!! IF I WANTED YOUR GODDAMN HAND CREAM I WOULD ASK!!!!" ..or something along those lines. It was quite hilarious (even more hilarious if you know this guy).

Those mall merchents do get pretty aggressive with their products sometimes.

Woke up this morning with what appears to be a spider bite on my hip. Been irritating me all day since it's right where my waistband hits. Bugger.

Today, training was tougher than usual. Did all the kicking exercises with very strong rubber bands tied around my legs, which caused sore muscles in my legs. Didn't have sore muscles in my legs ever since I started weight lifting with my legs 2 years ago. Ouch! Don't wanna climb up the stairs later. :D
