Video preview of Tony Jaa's 'Tom Yum Goong'

2004.12.11 - Tony Jaa is preparing to blow the lid off of the martial arts movie genre again. A three-minute video preview and behind-the-scenes look at action superstar Tony Jaa's follow-up to Ong Bak has appeared online.

In it, Jaa is seen promoting the release of Ong Bak with his trademark live stunts. Then it kicks into a few teaser shots of scouting and fight choreography for Tom Yum Goong, now in production in Australia. It also introduces some of Jaa's costars including Petchtai Wongkamlao (Ong Bak), Johnny Nguyen (Spider-man) and Nathan Jones (Troy).

Jaa can briefly be seen taking on multiple opponents in a training room in what is essentially an elaborate rehearsal where the final environment has been recreated for the purposes of fleshing out the action sequence beforehand.

Tom Yum Goong is slated for release in 2005.

I just came back from Bangkok, i saw posters already for the movie, unfortunately not seen anything else from it...

I also looked for the dvd from born to fight but could not find it anywhere...any news about that one?

I was there on 24th 28th Nov also had a few days on Sukhimvit (sp) 18 Rembrandt hotel.
We could have got together for a few drinks and some women.

Tell you what mind i was down Phuket for 7 days and shitting myself now after the news.
Hotel was right on the waterfront in Patong.

I was there in april and in nov/december last year, so at that time i was also in BKK yes..

I have been to phuket and the phi phi islands a year before


TYG is coming out in february in BKK
Its actually one of my fav dishes, especially when its very hottttttttt
