Films that take place within a 24 hour period

Post by BiscLimpkit »

Aye lets list films that take place within a 24 hour period. No particular reason, I'm just curious. I'll start - off the top of my head:

Aragami
Russian Ark
Harold and Kumar Chase White Castle

Any more?

Clerks.
Mallrats
Doug Liman's Go
Mike Figgis' Timecode
Chicago Cab (aka Hellcab)
Dazed and Confused
Slacker
Before Sunrise
Before Sunset
Phone Booth
Run Lola Run
Saw 2

Groundhog Day - the same 24 hours repeats over and over.
Maybe Ransom too (Where Mel Gibson's son is kidnapped. Can't remember much of it.)

These are just titles that come to mind, but not sure if they fit into the 24 and under category without actually going back and watching again. :?

Run Lola Run
The Philadelphia Story
Arsenic and Old Lace
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Johnny Mnemonic
Shampoo
Wages of Fear
Grand Hotel
A Christmas Carol

What about the disaster-themed movies from the '70s and '80s, like The Poseidon Adventure? Don't most of those disaster films take place in a 24-hour period?

Ah! I was thinking of putting that one, but isn't there a long lead-up to Bill Murray's driving out to the town where Groundhog Day takes place over and over again?

Cheers guys. I totally forgot about Go and Attach the Gas Station. I guess Reservoir Dogs would be one as well, if you neglect the areas that take place before the main robbery.
