Very cool film, A Big recommendation to this.

bradavon · Post by **bradavon** » 04 Feb 2006, 02:09

I second that. The DVD is gorgeous and at £3.99 it's a steal.

The Jet Li Collection (The Master + Hitman) for £7.99 before discount:

TWO films for £5.99, shame both are pretty rubbish (not that I've seen The Master).

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 04 Feb 2006, 11:14

Hitman isn't rubbish... I rather enjoyed it.

The Master is just OK.

or rather its just not a great film, as really years later now I cannot remember anything at all about it

bradavon · Post by **bradavon** » 05 Feb 2006, 17:42

I'd give it a mediocre 6 out of 10. I enjoyed it enough while I was watching it but the action is pretty poor and so is the rest of the film.

Hey,

CD-WOW have a bunch of DVDs for £4.99 (£2.99 with discount possibly?) Even at £3.99 a few of them sound very good - among them:

Abre Los Ojos R2
Chicago (DTS) R3
Twelve Monkeys R2 (I've heard this is very good).

The film is supposed to be BUT not the UK R2 is DD5.1 only (no biggie) but is non-anamorphic.

Get the R1 DTS bare-bones or R1 Extras DD5.1 (which has been re-released at a lower price).

saltysam · Post by **saltysam** » 21 Feb 2006, 16:14

Please remember to change the affiliation code to the Bullets one of &affid=13858

It's acceptable if the code you use knocks £1 off but any less or not at all please change the code.

Some cheapies on cd-wow all 4.99 pounds:-
R2 Godfather 1-3 (individual releases)
R2 Top Gun SE
R2 No Direction Home (the Martin Scorsese-directed doco on Bob Dylan. If it's anything like The Last Waltz - his doco on The Band, then it should be excellent).

Actually the new R1 of Twelve Monkeys sports a new transfer which is an improvement over the old one.
