Bisc,
Aye I havent seen Amores Perros (sp?), would I still enjoy Los Debutantes? (I'm sure I will, I added it to my rental queue based on the poster!
It's rather difficult not to enjoy it tbh. You should find it reasonably entertaining... Also check out Amores Perros.grim_tales wrote:Is that Eminem's new movie?

Good to hear another positive comment. I really enjoyed this.ReconFive wrote:V for Vendetta - 4/5
Very good. A few bold moves for a hollywood production which i really like. Raises some serious questions about the future of human society. Portman does a good job in her role although her british accent sounds alittle off. Dialog is all very Wachowski-ish, and can be looked at as a criticism of a strength depending on the viewer. Overall great stuff.

Well I've only seen two Miyazaki films (Howl's and Spirited Away), so I wouldn't know.BiscLimpkit wrote:I've only seen a small handful of Miyazaki titles but felt that this was his weakest effort, although still a wonderful film as you say. It felt like he recycled themes and characters from previous movies to create this one.
I suspect it's an age thing. You'd think we saw actual male sex.I noticed that most of my mum's friends said they were uncomfortable with the love scenes between Jake and Heath in the film.
Exactly.grim_tales wrote:there are straight sex scenes in the film that are more explicit than that.
IMO Sin City is very overrated. A decent rental but really no better than your average action flick.grim_tales wrote:The eye candy in Sin City was amazing, I loved the visual style even if ultimately the film is (IMO) style over substance.
