Pang Brothers - Your opinions?

Post by BiscLimpkit »

Hmm I think their movies are entertaining enough... they pass the time but I don't think they've made one outstanding film. Stuff like The Eye, The Eye 2, Bangkok Dangerous were alright the first time round, but I don't think I could sit through them again without feeling bored.

Bangkok Haunted, now that was just plain gash.

Love the Eye ... it had its moments and I have yet to see a film that creeps me out as much as that scene in the caligraphy school. The Eye 2 has its moment also (just remember Bus Stop) ... freaky ...:D

Shutter is their latest and that one is supposed to be the scariest of them all, i can wait for the release.

The eye is my fav asian horror movie, i watched it 3 times over the years and i still like it as much as the first time.

that scene in the caligraphy is the best shock moment in any horror movie imho.

But you thought you'd comment anyway :D

I enjoyed the Eye and could again but you're right it's not a fantastic film, good though. It's not worth £12 which is what CD WOW charge for it.

I agree ... its not the best film in the world but IMO its up there as one of the scariest movies I've seen (well that caligraphy scene anyway) ... it shits on RING (which everyone told me was scary)- I didn't even flinch once, it made me fall asleep instead.
