Can you remember your first BnB post?

Post by grim_tales »

I think my first ever post on the very old BnB was a poll about what everyone's Woo films were :D
Can you remember yours? :D :)

I remember introducing myself and apologizing for my bad english in my first post (way back in 2001 I think). :D
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

I'm thinking Jenz brought it into existence sometime around 2002, but I can't remember, tbh. I'd have to go back and look, or maybe ask Shingster or Moldiver.

 I don't think I ever used "ton" in French class but of course I know the difference between "vous" and "tu" :)
I thought BnB was born around 2001.

I can't remember what my first post was, but I know that I found BnB via KC Woman and our mutual interest in Yuen Biao films.

I really miss Gil's temper tantrums and random bannings of Shingster. :D

Shingster's still around on DVDForums. Both Moldiver and Shingster wrote several reviews for TheDVDTimes after the demise of Korean Cinema House and Room 504. I share rare exchanges with Shingster, Knetan, mr woo, and a few of the others from the old BnB. I stay in touch on a very regular basis with Njaal, but City Hunter seems to have disappeared. :(

As for Gil, who knows? Probably in a padded cell somewhere by now. ;)

My first post must've been a total n00b question/comment. Possibly discussing the major influence Mortal Kombat had on Asian cinema.

I do miss the old days.

:D In a funny way I know what you mean, even though Gil was very annoying and always starting flame wars.
I remember KC Woman (Sherry) too.

No idea what my first post was... but I joined in late 2002.

I can't remember who pointed this place out... but I think it may have been Bruce Leroy.

To be honest I can't say I really miss most of the people who haven't returned. The most prolific posters are back and although it would be nice to hear from Knetan and Rascalf again that's about it.

Gil disappeared... for a while I though he became The Running Man but could never prove it. :D

I remember I had the pirate-avater, and the only reason I still know that is becaus (I think) 68Monkey mentioned it a while back.
Dont have a clue what my first post was about though, but I've been here for a long long time.
