Hope you're joking, because if them's the new rules, I might as well bow out now.Markgway wrote:Kurgan, you've got just over an hour to post your image, otherwise you forefit a turn... and Tom isn't here to act as gamekeeper... so I suggest that Bruce take another go? What d'you think?

@68Monkey:
When this game started I made a rule that would allow the game to keep going even if the winner isn't there to post a picture:
Just because he's late doesn't mean that we're gonna decapitate him or anything.

Of course, rules were made to be bent.Tom wrote:**If the winner doesn't post a screenshot 24 hours after winning the previous round, I will take his place.

That's players for you.
They play, they play... but when they win they're lost.
Read the rules in the very first post, Kurg.

OK, after reading said rules (I didn't know there were rules; I just knew the origin of the screenshot!) here we are.
Oh, and the film is Japanese. I think this one's easy. But then, I would, seeing as how I've got the film
Good luck!
Edit: There aren't any rules against a film being animated, are there? Sorry, I jumped in at page 85 of this thread, don't know (aside from the first post) what rules have/haven't been discussed.

Not joking. That was one of Tom's rules. No point in having rules if players don't stick to them. They apply to everyone. You can still guess even if you don't have time to post, but if you win it saves time to make it clear in advance that you won't be posting a cap so that Tom can get on with it. A game like this relies on constant updates. It's not chess!the68monkey wrote:Hope you're joking, because if them's the new rules, I might as well bow out now.

Sorry, the post took longer than expected. The 'nope' was for Yi-Long, and Markgway now has the honour. Good show old spice.
And as for the rules, well, I didn't know; it wasn't me; I was dead at the time! Or any combination of those.
Wow, this is stressful. I have enough of that in the real world. I may be venturing more incorrect answers from now on.
I'll have you know that any answers submitted will be incorrect on purpose, and not because I ain't got a clue, alright?!

LD, do something !
Mark's getting closer !
Scores:
Tom2681 = 67 Points.
LostDragon = 49 Points.
Markgway = 42 Points.
BiscLimpkit = 36 Points.
Brooce-Leroy = 35 Points.
Yi-Long = 27 Points.
ReconFive = 15 Points.
RomeroJPG = 15 Points.
Grim Tales = 12 Points.
Mordib = 12 Points.
Gasteropod = 12 Points.
The68Monkey = 9 Points.
Slasher13 = 9 Points.
Bradavon = 6 Points.
Limited Edition Slag (TigerCage) = 3 Points.
IronMonkey = 3 Points.
EvaUnit2 = 3 Points.
Kurgan = 3 Points.
@Kurgan:
ALL the rules are summarized in the very first post.
Anime is allowed of course.
It used to be a very simple game (guess, win, post...guess, win, post) and it still is. However some restrictions were necessary.
about the 24-hour rule:
I know that some people visit this forum only once every two days (which can be problematic).
Still I believe 24 hours is a good compromise. It makes the game more dynamic IMO.

Lol @ Kurgan: I was only saying about the rules in case the game slows to a stop; which it has a couple of times when we've had a whole day go by and no activity. I know, we're sad!!
I can't believe I go the answer correct. It was a COMPLETE guess based on the "guy in a suit". Never seen the film or even any clips, I saw the VHS cover once in HMV years ago.
Off to find the next game... 8)
