Hmmm... I only want a good version of the first movie. 2nd movie was also OK, but after that it went very very bad...
I'd rather see them release a 2-disc set with Bloodsport and Kickboxer, with good video, audio and uncut.

I haven't seen the Van Damme original, only craptacular KB3 (one of the AWFUL sequels with Sacha Michelle - a poorman's Keanu Reeves from the dire 90's sitcom update of Brady Bunch, Step by Step.) and KB5.

Kickboxer 5 was awesome! It had the under-rated Mark Dacascos and some South African dude kicking serious arse. Plus these two dudes were real martial artists, not idiots with some idiot with stunt fighting training like I'm sure fake-Keanu was.

I've only seen the original kick-boxer and didn't even realise there was any sequels. Is kick-boxer 5 available on DVD already as I might add it to my DVD rental list if it is?

I didn't realise the original film was cut. How much is missing and if anybody knows what has been cut?

Lion's Gate released 1,2 & 5 previously and all were full-frame.

Part 1 was abridged, as per all the American video releases, but not censored.

An anamorphic edition of 1 was distributed by HBO (but is long OOP)

A letterboxed edition of 2 was(?) available in Holland - uncut.

3-5 were crap so who cares??? :D

Yes, it was banned in 1994, but eventually passed uncut a year or so ago.
