Best Break-Up songs?

Post by grim_tales »

I start off:

The Winner Takes It All - ABBA

Knowing Me, Knowing You - ABBA (again)

I'll Never Find Another You - The Seekers

Perhaps Love - John Denver

There was a sort of "Favorite Break Up Songs" thing on C5 last night.

Mark is not going to like this:

James Blunt was at No 3 with "You're Beautiful". BTW, the song was inspired by him seeing an old flame with her new boyfriend.

Can't argue with the No 1 though - The Winner Takes It All (classic).

I'll never find someone like you - Forgot the artist. It's on the Bad Boys OST.

Queen has a couple of very good love songs...
and I think Moby always does well when ur in a depressed mood...

Garbage also have a few good numbers on their first 2 albums (havent checked out any later album(s)

The soundtrack of In The Mood For Love, and Happy Together (impossible to find, but som of the songs have been stuck in my head for years... :) ) are also brilliant.

Have both OSTs, maybe we can transfer them after we're done with "Hajime no Ippo".

Hahaha... havent seen you online yet (partly my own fault, as I'm usually offline, or invisible ;) )
I'm at episode 27 at the moment. Downloading the whole package 2-3 episodes at a time (which roughly takes 24 hours...

I believe I already have the ITMFL soundtrack, but would LOVE the Happy Together one ;)
