September 11th Aftermath - Poll inside...
Hey,
almost 5 years have passed since the tragic events of September 11th 2001. Back then US president George W. Bush said that the world will never be the same again. We saw what happened as the USA's reaction.
Afghanistan was invaded. Thousands of people died and the numbers of deaths casualties are increasing on a daily basis.
Although Iraq was invaded under the false-pretence of disarming the country from its weapons of mass destruction, the US government took advantage of the happenings of September 11th by linking Iraq to Al Qaida. The war is still very active in the area. Thousands of people have died and the number of casualties is increasing rapidly.
Next might come Iran.
Now looking back and in retrospect to over 4 years of killing in the Middle Eastern area, is the war still justified with an emotional reaction to September 11th. To me it seems that September 11th was a trigger to the whole war, very much welcomed by the US government as they could take advantage of the population's current emotions in order to justify a long lasting military campaign.

from evidence i have seen 9/11 was a lie, the only terrorists in the countries (uk/us) are Bush and Blair. NO WAY could a plane crashing into the wtc at the side make it collapse vertically...of course the excuse for that is that the heat fro mthe plane mad ethe stell collapse about 5 floors down...lol... of course any life lost is not right, but its worse to use this loss of life as an excuse to kill even more people, whom have no relation to the so called terrorists other than they live in the same country...
of course, i think that the whole 9/11 plot was engineered to launch the US/UK into a war wit hthe middle east for numerous reason, all of which are unjustified...war is unjustified in any circumstance...and the thing coming with iran, well yeah anyone can see that, that is just some huge farce in order for another war..i mean come on...if they didnt want iran to have nuclear components, why supply them with it...same with the WoMD the saddam *had* they only knew he had them becuase in the 1970/80s we gave them him!
(that probably didnt make much snese in relation but thats my brain for you...)

Yeah, but there is a certain fact about the elections in Iraq and Afghanistan. The choice of whom to vote was given to them by the US. Hamid Karzai, president of Afghanistan was one of the given choices. He was born in Kandahar/Afghanistan, studied at university in India. By the end of the 1980's he returned to Afghanistan in order to support anti-Soviet forces and later went to the USA where he has been working with the CIA.grim_tales wrote:...havent Iraqis and Palenstinians done OK electing who they want recently? (If Palestinians elect Hamas, so be it).
After Sept. 11th, he has worked with the USA again in order to overthrow the Taliban-regime and to help build a new Afghan government. I think it was in December 2001 already when he was already elected as the president of the interim government, but not by the Afghan people. During the Afghanistan-conference in Bonn, Germany he was elected by the governers of 60 other countries.
3 years later he received more than 50% of the votes for president, but it still remains a fact that he and his competitors were put up to vote for by the USA.
The same goes for Iraq. Djalal Talabani, Iraq's current president was also one of a few choices given by the USA for Iraqis to vote for.
As for Palestine... officially, the USA is not at war with Palestine.

I voted that the West should stay out of what is not their business and quite frankly they know little about.
How can a Western power ever have a proper understanding of things?
That said the whole area from what I understand is a complete mess so someone needs to kick it into shape.
US style democracy is far from perfect BUT crucially at least it's a democracy.

Yeah, as Churchill said "Democracy is the worst system.. except for all the others".
LD, yeah - the US puts in who it "likes" but the results have got to be better for the Iraqis than living under Saddam, no?
I agree Shen to kill people who have no connection to Al-Qaeda (sp?) is certainly not right, but they still should try and find the people respsonsible rather than do nothing and are you saying 9/11 was a lie and didnt happen?
It was unprovoked. So was the World Trade Centre bombing in 1993.
LD did you see 24 (Season 3)?
Saunders is pissed off at the US Government for betraying him (or something like that), that doesnt give him any right to do what he does to the people in the hotel.
Imagine if 24 was more "real" though, it'd be like Jack Bauer going to London and trying to hunt Saunders down.
Saunders (Saddam/Bin Laden/Al-Qaida) are evil and shouldnt be taken out. But innocent people shouldnt be caught up in it. How is it supposed to be done?
Sorry for those ramblings I thought that was semi-on topic there

I would participate in the poll if it didn't blatantly put all "westerners" in the same boat as Bush/Blair. I blame the US and the UK for Iraq - even though I still think getting rid of Hussein was the best for the people there...
As for Iran, since they keep refusing to co-operate with this nuclear shit - they deserve a smacking - let us all just hope that the UN manages to handle this instead of the US/UK...

If Europe asked the USA, who actually DO have nuclear weapons, to co-operate with "this nuclear shit", would the USA do? Well, they wouldn't and going by your logic, it's obvious what they'd deserve.gojensen wrote:As for Iran, since they keep refusing to co-operate with this nuclear shit - they deserve a smacking - let us all just hope that the UN manages to handle this instead of the US/UK...

9/11 was a message for the USA, saying "Mind your own business".
Apparently the message was misinterpreted and triggered a stupid war against terrorism.
The West has no right to invade/attack the Middle-East.
The West has no business in the Middle-East.
9/11 is NOTHING compared to what the USA did to them in the last decade.
If a real war happens, I know I'll be fighting at Bin Laden's side.
(I remain unaffected by evil american propaganda).
LET US NOT FORGET WHERE THE REAL BAD GUYS ARE.
BTW:
Just my opinion: the people who choose Option N°1 deserve to be brutally raped, tortured and murdered.

You know, war against terrorism is pointless as each attack forms new people filled with hate and willing to commit terrorist acts. War for the sake of peace & freedom is like fucking for virginity.Tom2681 wrote:Apparently the message was misinterpreted and triggered a stupid war against terrorism.

That makes it OK then?Tom2681 wrote:9/11 was a message for the USA, saying "Mind your own business".
As Mark said, a terror attack has the right to be avenged. After something like that you don't seriously ecpect the US to do nothing?
Both sides must be in the wrong. The West has no right to invade/attack the Middle-East.![]()

But how would you feel if terrorists attacked somewhere in France like the Eiffel Tower? That Abu Hamza person allegedly had plans alluding to do that (and in London as well). Thats why these assholes must be stopped.
Who voted No 1? I didnt.BTW:

not at all, it did of course happen, i just dont think it happened as we are portrayed it, i mean, tyhey have this whole fruit loop system...they tell us one thing, and then follow it with another which totally contradicts the thing they said before, so they deny they said the first thing and yada yada yada the cycle keep going" but there are just TOO many discrepancies in the *official* story, like the fact that the fuel on board t he plane was kerosine, maximum burning power about 800-1000 degrees, you telling me thats enough to melt the steel supports soome floors down? and then mirculously relight itself for a nothre burning session? and an inferno that turns stell and brick into ashes is meant to spare the paper passports of the *terrorists* and they just happen to be in the top of the rubble?grim_tales wrote: I agree Shen to kill people who have no connection to Al-Qaeda (sp?) is certainly not right, but they still should try and find the people respsonsible rather than do nothing and are you saying 9/11 was a lie and didnt happen? It was unprovoked. aswell as that they terrorists apparently took over th
e plane with guns, knives and gas...ok so they are REALLY gonna get through security with that? one guy would have a very hard task with that let alone 19,
and then evidence suggests that the supports were blown out not melted...
i highly reccomend reading this article amongst many others that i am too lazy to link too
http://rense.com/general69/statee.htm
also check out "illuminazi 911" and maybe the book alice in wonderland and the world trade center...plus numerous other sources of "conspiracy" theory information...
i mean it sure as hell did happen, but i just dont think it happened the way its portrayed, andwas used as a means to go to war.
AS for democracy in the west, excuse me while i pick my self up off the floor from laughing, the UK has no written constitution outlining our rights to "free speech" and "freedom of ideas" its only an expectation that the people have, which as i see it rarely is lived up too, and america...well...yeah...the majority are so mind controlled through tv, fear of the big bad arabs, not to mention fear of being different and ridiculed, and junk food addatives that supress the neurological processes, besides the indoctrination of education. that they just accept everything the nice mr president says with unwavering patriotism, quite a few of the great alternative reporters whom i read have been threatened with death threats, and harm to their family, and verbally abused by ordinary people who say that they are anti-british/american, or even anti-semitic. i mean would you tust a president who said god told him to go kill hundreds of thousands of people...can you say D E L U S I O N A L kids?
we may have *democracy* but its a pretty poor excuse for it...
hmm didnt expect this post to be so long. but 9/11 theres just too many discrepancies to believe what the government say.

1. Inbred Evil:romerojpg wrote:at least they are not inbred brainwashed EVIL religious ignorant fucks. Blind wankers.
So what would you call the killing of millions of American Indians? I mean the number of killed Indians is quite high which I wouldn't exactly call "not evil" and hence there is a certain level of inbred, engrained evil. As far as it seems, the whole US history is based on killing, slavery and wars. The US government has been at continuous war ever since.
2. Brainwashed Evil:
What you call 'brainwashed' in the Middle East people is what they call their ideals. And they call the Western ideals as brainwashing (capitalism and non-working democracy).
3. Religious & Ignorant:
After 9/11 Bush spoke of "resuming the crusades". As far as ignorance is concerned... within the last 90 years, no Middle East government invaded the West, completely ignoring people's way of living. While single individuals like the continously mentioned Hamza (whom I have the feeling is your only example of what Islam means) ignorantly talk about the way of life in the West, governments from the West not only bad-mouth, but attack and invade countires. You see, there is a big difference if a huge military campaign ordered by a government is being done, or if single indivduals perform terrorist attacks. A government should be aware that by its actions it represents its people to foreign countries (which is a shame, because people are easily prejudiced and unlike me not every Muslim is fortunate enough to know that the Western governments do not represent their people).
4. Fucks:
At least sexual abstinence before marriage is more widely spread in the Middle East than in the West, so don't call us fucks.

Good, others obviously do and they are the ones I am aiming my comments at. Too many people are saying they are doing the right thing, when killing is not good at all, its sick and Evil.
Face facts people Religion is causing all this agro in the middle east and anyone who suports them in any way deserves anything that comes to them. Hopefully a painful death. I feel shit for Iraq at the moment and the innocent people getting killed, but many dont help themselves at all killing their own! and people trying to help them.
People still suport Sadamme Husain for fucks sake!
the amount of innocents he wiped from the face oft he earh and religious fools still follow him show how messed up over there is.
The only way its ever gonna end is when everyones dead, which may be soon the way this shit is going.
Fucks as in they marry theri own relatives and get defective children, maybe thats something to do with it!

romero lol are you so fully devoid of intelligence that you make comments like this with no factual evidence to back up your points about "marrying their own relatives and get deftective children" other than your own inbred ideas, by inbred ideas i mean the fact that your ideas seem to be passsed through you brain by others not actually formed in them...

Whatever you say, your obviously blind.
Facts to back them up, like yours? your are pure really correct, no facts at all. Like many on here you think your right with a little twist here and there, and evil fucks who suport and back the actions of religious murderes hopefully wont get away free from punishment, esspecially if you beleve in god, as your going stright to hell.
As I can see from other peoples comments, facts you produce are not facts at all. Your ignorance and ideas of super cover ups is cracking, based on pure fact I can see.
