Maid Marian and Her Merry Men coming to DVD!?

Although I havent seen this for pre-order yet it seems pretty conclusive:

**UPDATE!!**

The BBC has now confirmed the official DVD release! The actor who played Robin has told us about some 'hidden gems' for the extras, and Tony Robinson is working on them during November (2005 that is). The BBC say it should be out to compliment his tour.

I can't believe that when I first came on here, I was asking for Blackadder fan's help, and now, because of the petition, pressure and a load of loyal fans, we have won!

The first series will be released on DVD on 6th March, with the following 3 series coming later.
Some websites are selling it for £13.99, others are £15.99, so shop around!

The DVD is up for pre-order here at Tesco's site - unfortunately the big stores like Play and Amazon don't have it on their site yet.

Hmmm... I'd rather see Robin of Sherwood getting a good DVD release...
I loved that show when I was a kid. I also liked Crossbow although Robin Hood just made a bigger impact on me.

No I think you're right there Mark. He'd probably buy Care Bears Deluxe Edition DTS if it existed. :D

I hated that show :D FAR too twee, AARGGH! ;)

He he you're probably right Mark, Maid Marian was a great show though, very funny.
