Anyone watching Eastenders tonight? (Maybe its' a repeat, I'm not sure).

There's one scene where Pat Butcher and Frank (Mike Ried) are talking, they are in fact standing outside the St. Albans Magistrates Court. :D Behind them you can just make out the enterance to our town centre car park.

Its probably because quite a lot of shooting is done (not for Eastenders, I just mean occassional other TV shows) at Elstree Studios (in Herts) :)

RIP John Lennon :( He would have been 65 this year.
One of the great musicians of this century IMO, I've just listened to his 1975 classic "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" which is even more poignant now due to Iraq etc.
I think HCWIO marked the end of the Vietnam War but I may be wrong.

I wonder why C4 make the sorts of programmes they do, giving airtume to his killer. It must be very distressing for Yoko and other relatives.
Mark Chapman was a self deluding nutcase who killed a genius for no reason. End of.

Hey,

When I went out yesterday I played on a DS in the big Virgin Store in London and tried it out.

Mario Kart DS was great :D Really enjoyed it.
Also the puppies in Nintendogs are sooo cute and adorable! :)

Also tried out King Kong (very atmospheric) on the 'Cube and Kameo (OK) on the XBox 360.

Aye so I think we're supposed to get a lot of snow over the next few days? (in the UK anyway).

Aberdeen has some snow just now. The town areas are fine but driving around the countryside is a nightmare. I expect Dundee should be the same? Glasgow is ok for the time being (some frost here and there) but should expect some heavy snowfall by Friday. So drive safe. I hate snow tbh.

I should be a weatherman. :D

:D We've had a very light dusting of snow (in St. Albans), its bloody cold though! :D

That reminded me of the Christmas "Dead Ringers" episode - to the tune of Blunts' "You're Beautiful" (The video is in the snow):

Its bloody cold
Its bloody cold
Its bloody cold out here...

We got some snow 24hrs ago -- it's very cold air so the snow is lying on a thin layer for the moment.

My biggest mistake was teaching my Japanese friends how to swear. Now they find it hilarious and swear at completely inappropriate times.

I remember they kept swearing out loud on a public bus (with wee kids on it and everything), it was well embarassing.

I just got a postcard from my mate and it reads:

"Happy new year, fuckin sheep shagger. I heard it's super freezing in Scotland, while I'm in Hawaii now. See you in Kagawa."

It's lucky that I picked up the mail before my folks. He's totally getting a hiding for this btw.
