I think it's getting one this year... what's wrong with the current release in your opinion?

there is not a lot wrong with the current edition (apart from it's a snapper  ) but i think one of the finest mainstream movies of the last 10 years deserves a full on SE. :D

I couldnt even find one thing in the film good, I just sat back and was blown away at how bad the whole thing was and when it ended I was over the moon as it was so bland. It left an awful taste in my mouth, overated shit basically.

I am sure it would be different if other tossers said it was shit

Yup because you are all wrong thats why.

Pointless thread anyway, its all personal opinion and I think its shit, dont even see the point of talking about it as its not worth it.

Nope not pointless forums are all about discussions, dissecting and debating.

I went for:

Quite decent, reasonably good. I own it.

Why does it need a new SE DVD? The current one is fine, do all DVDs have to have 2 discs releases? I think not.

I'd prefer WB would get on an release a non-flipper "Time to Kill" and "Blade Runner: SE". Quite frankly I'd prefer an SE of what they can get than no SE at all.

When I watched it at the cinema I was gripped until the end, and overwhelmed by the ferocity of Crowe's Bud White. It doesn't happen often, but Crowe's walking volcano was definitely a bonafide star making turn. Even though I'm sure he didn't have to method act too much for that character. ;)

Thing is I love the cast (apart from awful Kim) none worked together, and all of them I hated as charecters. I just didnt care one bit for anyone and wanted them all to die as soon as they could so the film would end.

No way. The cast are all great in it! Which film were you watching? ;) I couldn't fault anyone, although I don't think cork nipples deserved an oscar. Russell and Guy. Classy. Kevin Spacey. Ditto. James Cromwell. Fantastic in an evil way.

Funnily enough... Kim was the least of the performers in the movie and yet SHE won the Oscar.

I voted 4/5, but don't own it. The current DVD is a joke (extras wise). What is it - a map of Beverly Hills and some bios? LOL!

It's a fine film with some excellent performances - Guy Pierce in particular from what I remember.

It's much more than that. I'm sure it's pretty stacked for a one disc release.

He he true but I didn't say stacked

Okay it's not pretty stacked but it has a fair amount:

I wouldn't bother to upgrade if/when an SE comes.

A bunch of text-based extras which are mostly bios, some EPK fluff and a gimmicky interactive map of Beverly Hills. FUCK YEAH MAN, worthwhile meaty extras there!

I'm gonna wait until we get a proper SE, like with maybe a fucking Curtis Hanson commentary.

I forgot how to vote, or maybe voting has closed? Anyway, I think it's a modern classic. Love it!
