Best Place to get special edtions

Post by noshadowkick »

Hey good to be back!;)

Looking at some of the fantastic special edition sets like the new police story - I was wondering where's the best place price wise to get them - playasia? They have it for £20 is that about average for these types of special versions?

Thanks

Are you going to only discuss Asian DVDs? If so here is fine, if not I can move it to "Anything Goes".

The two cheapest for everything Asian are:

CD WOW
KoreanDVDs.com

After that use:

Yesasia.com
DDDHouse.com
eThaiCD.com
CDJapan.com

Best to always ask for best price and place to get a specific set as no one site is best, a combo of sites is what I use to get them all cheapest, so best to research, or just ask and let others do it for you :D saves you time.

Welcome back too

I like cool ones and they looks great on my shelf, but if the dvds crap I ussually dont bother at all. The thing is a lot of the time the really expensive sets and stuff have the best quality dvd in them too
Like HERO Ultimate Japanese set! its an amazing set, but the dvds the best the film sounds and looks :)

also I have to like the film as well, or I ussually sell them :D

Yes I am sure, some in front of me right now.

and at the moment I guess OLDBOY Ultimate Editions worth getting if your into pretty amazing packaging and super picture on the film, and enuff extras to sink a ship and everyones saying you dont need subs to watch them! which is always a plus! but it will set you back around 50 quid! but saying that its selling at places already for well over 100 quid! crazy buggers!

The NEW Police Story Set is fun with nice interesting stuff in a interesting box too, and its about 16 quid from some places like Koreandvds and its very limited and will sell out very soon. The films good too and was worth a watch thats for sure, never seen Jacie Chan cry soo much in any film :)

I think they are the last 2 nice sets I got that I will be keeping as the films are worth it.

Yes the picture was pretty much top stuff all the way thru, and the sound too it went bezerk! thats how to use the surround speakers! it was very nice all round thats for sure. the film too was good, if a little erratick and it changed maybre too much from comedy, to nasty seriousness at the drop of a hat, and I Jackie crys more in this fim than all his other films put together! :D
