£2 voucher from cd-wow (and the people newspaper)
Hi,
Brad, I can't post in your vouchers thread, so I'm doing it here. Feel free to close this thread and put it in your thread.
£2 cd-wow voucher
Go to:
www.cd-wow.com/thepeople
Type following passcode in the relevant code box:
XU7F6-D97GJ
Provide your email address
and VOILA, you get a £2 e-voucher!
BUT...According to the paper, you have to use the voucher by 11th January. Apparently, there are only 75,000 £2 vouchers (first come..etc..) so be quick.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Only one money-off voucher may be used per transaction.
2. The promoter will collect addresses only for the purpose of administering this promotion and will not retain this information after the duration.
3. CD WOW! maintain the right to refuse, and refund if relevant, (even following acceptance of an order) any transaction where, in its sole opinion, the customer / transacting party are fraudulently achieving multiple discounts.

Nice one cheers Bruce. It works fine for me Mark.
I can really see people abusing this and if so I doubt 75,00 people will get a voucher or even close, assuming that number is true.
I'm tempted to get myself loads but A: That really wouldn't be fair and B: I suspect if you try and use to many CD WOW will work it out and cancel your orders anyway.

But as it will be a popular voucher I'll leave the thread open.

Nope you can't but that's why this thread is here:brooce-leroy wrote:Brad, I can't post in your vouchers thread, so I'm doing it here. Feel free to close this thread and put it in your thread.

I did the same but in thinking about it we're only saving £1 per order so I'm not going to bust my balls over a £1 saving trying to think of things to buy.
I've spent stacks on DVDs recently so can't really afford it anyway. I picked up Million Dollar Baby 2 Disc DTS HK R3 for £8.99 but doubt I'll use my second voucher; it's not long until the 11th of January.
p.s - I've updated the first post with the terms and conditions if members could remember to do the same please.

Yep straight away. Check you didn't type the e-mail address in wrong.
It's a voucher code btw so make sure you use the nornal link and NOT one of the voucher links. If people could use this one it would be great (Bullets affliated link) -

I must've got the last one sorry mate, mine shipped today too. I usually miss out when CD WOW stop stocking something.
Try e-mailing them.
The second best btw is the Korean DVD for DTS, after that is they're all about the same R1 or UK R2. The HK DVD beats the Korean DVD as not only does it have DTS it also has some B-Roll footage (it's cheap too, sorry).

 - I wish CD WOW would make their minds up are they going to follow their own terms and conditions or not?
One minute they allow multiple vouchers then they don't.
Right next thing I buy I'll try both a code and link. I'll report back. All they do is cancel the order so big deal really.

Yeah... I now also used a combination of a 50 ct link and a 1 pound voucher, to still get a 1,5 pound reduction. Hopefully it works, but if it doesn't, I wont re-order.bradavon wrote:Doh! I ordered Sha Po Lam btw. I was gonna wait for reviews but what the hell...
I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...
