Crimewave (Sam Raimi) R2 DVD Cut?

Finally this classic comes to life on DVD.

K,
I know IMDB is never the best place to believe whats being said but some twats saying the R2 DVD is cut. The part where Arthur is on top of the car on the motorway holding that giant rat thing and he's talking to that Vic character. Apparently, most of Arthur's speech is cut..

Anyone got the DVD to confirm this? I really want to buy it cos my VHS copy is really shite.

I don't see why this would be cut, the old VHS releases were uncut to my knowledge.

Never seen the film, but I know the BBFC cut a "fuck" for a PG rating.

I think the BBFC have given the DVD a 12 rating.....would 1 "fuck" be passed for a 12?

If it were a '12' then yes, but I'm sure it was a 'PG'.

Yea, the old original Video releases were PG but the new DVD is a 12 so the "fuck" may have been re-instated.

I couldn't find any uncut version of Crimewave listed at the BBFC. All three submissions (one for film, two for video) were passed as censored PG certificates.
