Arsenal v Chelsea

Post by grim_tales »

Arse really need to start scoring again, considering their league position.. :( It takes time to rebuild a side though, especially after selling a player like Patrick Viera. Why doesnt Wenger buy big in the transfer window, thats what we need. I admire him for buying youngsters and building them but it takes time.

I think Henry will score again against Chelski :)

Hope it will be better then the match at the beginning of the seaso, which was awfull.
Drogba scroing a very very lucky winning goal.
But the match was just plain bad: bad passing, some bad fouls, boring shit.

I hope wenger will decide to play 4-3-3, with Bergkamp in the nr 10 spot, behind Persie and Henry. Arsenal have the players for a good 4-3-3 system, plus they MUST win so they should play attacking football.

:crybaby: Arsenal didnt play well IMO and Chelski were lucky in some cases.

Van Persie's goal should of STOOD.
Chelsea's first goal actually looked more offside than Arsenals.
Essien should have been sent OFF for what he first did to Lauren, then shoving/elbowing Van Persie out of the way.

 Poo.

yeah, the ref was an idiot.
To be fair though, he was blind both ways. Essien should have been sent off, and VP's goal should have counted, but on the other hand Drogba should have gotten a penalty cause Lehman acted like a total tit and brought him down, so he should have seen red or at least yellow and a penalty... and Senderos should have gotten a straight red for the foul from behind on Robben in the 2nd half. I believe Senderos also made some fouls in the first half which would have warranted a card...

The ref was just plain bad.

wenger needs to concentrate his efforts now on persuading henry to stay beyond this season...but if he goes to barca who could blame him no player would turn them down at the moment.
