Review of the 4 Disc Japanese Special Edition here.

When an average entry into a director’s filmography is this good, it is hard to complain. Howl’s Moving Castle is a beautiful piece of work, with a somewhat empty core, but plenty left to love. This four disc special edition isn’t exactly end-all, or quite worth the steep price tag but the film itself is a worthy entry to any animation lover’s collection.

Sounds good, and I'd like to see more anime/Miyazaki movies but I'll wait for the UK release.
7000 yen? Bloody hell.

What an utterly pointless 4 disc release.

The DD2.0 Surround tracks would've definitely fitted on Disc 1 (French WTF? That'll get much use in Asia outside of Vietnam). I suspect disc 4's content would've fitted on disc 3 (the storyboard disc).

Making this at most a 2 disc set.
