I think this is a good idea. Conan is already a series, and there's (supposedly) only one good movie, so if they fuck up it's not really a disgrace. Besides, I'm glad to see Arnold taking more lead roles. He was merely embarrassing in Expendables 2, but I think that was the sum of odd personality, strange English, bad writing, and limited screentime. With the whole movie dedicated to him I think he may do much better.

Though this is gonna be the first barbarian movie with elderly star in it... it's a mucle man genre. Does Arnold stil have muscles? (yeah, no need to link that beach photo). Maybe better set it in snowy mountains

The other two projects... the prison film with Stallone, and the Kim Jee Woon film, also look promising. I'm glad that Arnold is really trying a comeback, and as leading man in action movies like he should, rather than do some miserable comedies with Adam Sandler...

I was never a fan of the Conan movies (didn't see the remake) so have no affection for the series. If they fuck it up I won't care so go for it I says.

Same as Mark. Hardly familiar with the Conan-franchise, so couldn't really give a fuck. However, there is ofcourse a huge potential to make a serious bad-ass movie about an old Conan, battle-scarred, hurt, to go out and do what he has to do one more last time.

It could absolutely be AWESOME, IF done right. But you would need a director who will take the whole thing serious and also make it look right, cinematically speaking.
