Well thought i might as well make a thread regarding Sony Excellent Handheld System. As you know Grand Theft Auto is out for the PSP and has anyone played it yet.
I have played Riger Racer - Excellent loved it, and Metal Gear Acid (Again very good but u need to get into it, very different from the other Metal Gear Games). I didn't like Midnight Duo though, hated the loading screen, so traded it for Metal Gear.

So far I have:
Games:
Ridge Racer - Excellent Game
Metal Gear Ac!d - as you've said... you have to get into it.
Archer McLeans's Mercury - very clever strategy game. Unfortunately it can be beaten quite quickly and doesn't have a lot of replay value.
Need for Speed - Rivals - Uhm... the worst graphics I have seen on the PSP so far. Lucky I got it for a tenner (Euro). Good gameplay, though.
Burnout Legends - Now THAT's my current favourite game. Just love it.
UMDs:
Ong-Bak (Premier Asia) - I got this as a present from the people at HKL. Otherwise, I think I wouldn't buy any UMDs at the moment as they are far too expensive. I rather rip my DVDs and put the films on the memory stick.
Current Videos on my 1GB-stick:
Hajime No Ippo - Episodes 4 - 6 - very cool boxer anime series. Thanks to Yi-Long for recommending it to me.

Salaam LostDragon, what would you say is better Burnout Legends or Ridge Racer, with Ridge Racer i love the handling of the cars. Also when using thumb pad works with Ridge Racer, is it the same for Burnout. I am surprised at Need for Speed, i was going to get that, but now think of getting Burnout, Grand Theft Auto and Tenchu (Japanese)
Kind Regards

Hey Grim,grim_tales wrote:What does Salaam mean, Slasher? Is that Arabic for "hello"?![]()
Salaam is an Arabic word and it means "peace". It is used to say hello in the abbreviated form of just "Salaam". The whole sentence would be A(l)salaamu 'alaikum. This means, "May peace be upon you". It is the official greeting between Muslims.
Salaam, Slasher!
I love the handling of "Ridge Racer". They made perfect use of the analog pad.
With "Burnout", I rather play with the control buttons, as it seems to be easier, especially when drifting around curves.
If I had to compare the games, I'd say "Burnout" guarantees a lot more of entertainment. However, for a shorter time only, as I can imagine that crashing cars all the time might get a bit dreary.
I'd say if you are looking for a racing game that manages to entertain for a longer period of time, it is "Ridge Racer". However, for the shorter time span in which "Burnout" provides entertainment, it is better than that of "Ridge Racer".
