spolier question about samaria/samaritan girl

Post by Ricochan38 »

question about the end of the movie

spoiler

why does he leave his daughter behind with the car, whats the point, or did he really already kill her?
If not why not say goodbye to her, or ask why she did it all etc.

No reason really, he was guilty and he went to get locked up, it seemed after his little trip with his daughter he felt he had got back a little of her innocence, and then it was time for him to go to prison, a little odd I guess the way he set about leaving her in that state with a car she couldnt drive! but hey strange film :)

and no he didnt kill her, it wasnt even sugested he did realy it was a dream sequence that .

made me cry nearly :( love the film

I think "Samaria" is the weakest film of Kim Ki-duk's. It doesn't mean it is bad, but have you seen the beauty of "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter ...and Spring"??? Awesome film. I think then it has to be "Bad Guy".

No wait... I thought "Seom" was the weakest.
