The Joy Sales wins IMO.

Difference is negligible. HKL has a fraction more red in the image but from those caps it works. JS has more green. Have to say I remember the picture being very grainy. Yet there's no grain present at all on those caps. :?

HKL looks a tad bit sharper. Probably has better subtitles too.

I seem to recall reading it was a downmix.

Unless Xenon returns and confirms that it's genuine mono I'm going to assume it's a downmix based on past commentary.

The HKL was fine. A good all rounder.

DVNR is more evident on the JS from those caps, its there still on the HKL though.

For the record I've got the JS disc just for the deleted scenes.

Keung: Is the JS a downmix or original mono?

I wouldn't know as I haven't got a clue what that means. :? I'm not fussy when it comes to audio. As long as I can hear it, it's fine.

It astonishes me how people claim not to know the difference. I mean, the FS remixes ain't subtle...
