I'm looking forward to 1911 too. Are we sure thats not the same movie as "The founding of a republic" (which looks so boring imo).

Jackie Chan = Old.
Old Jackie Chan + Armour of God series < Young Jackie Chan + Armour of God series.

If this one doesn't recapture former glory I would seriously urge Jackie to retire from doing "Jackie Chan movies" and go down the Clint Eastwood-turns-serious filmmaker route instead.

Re: Jackie Chan's "Chinese Zodiac" (2012)
I love the Stanley Tong era of Jackies filmography (Project S and Myth aside). Jackie + Tong + Armour of Godesq adventure = win.
This part of Jackies career will be looked on as his last, last hurrah of solely action filmmaking.
Jackie went all out on action in 87/88 'before he got too old' - remember that?
This is Jackies 'serious filmmaker era' (working with Derek Yee, young talented Director Ding Sheng, Cinematographer Zhang Li, returning to Directing...)
He's making exciting films again. Everything he's made since Forbidden Kingdom is a future classic

I'd like to see Jackie go the whole hog with a film like SNAKE & CRANE where he beats all challengers AND insults them!

His recent HK films are getting better each time. I really enjoyed Little Big Soldier.
