You think that's bad...? Tell me if you see any similarity between the Wheels on Meals and Hand of Death covers.

Also, these releases are of limited interest if they're not gonna fix the flaws from first time round. There's about four titles I need, but none of them have been scheduled yet.

NFOF looks very suspicious, too. Jackie's actual body and head with a different image of his face awkwardly put on there. :icon_suspect:

They're not intended for you or I, who bought them originally.

I don't remember Hand of Death, The Protector or New Fist of Fury the first time around. All three look to be barebones budget releases.

They've only been OOP for a couple of years and most of the titles that have been re-released were the easiest ones to get. Conversely Dreadnaught disappeared after about a week. Why not start there?

That was when HKL were winding down and happy to just churn out the remainder of their Jackie titles. I never saw New Fist of Fury, but Hand of Death and The Protector had downmixes. Very lazy, couldn't-care-less releases that Cine Asia are merely replicating. To have these released TWICE is insulting.

Hey,
Since I'm not sure if/when a BD of Heroic Trio will arrive, I came across this German disc that features Heroic Trio and its sequel:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Heroic-Trio-Exe ... 028&sr=1-1

Not as keen on Executioners, but I wonder what the quality of the DVD is like?

The OFDB reckons that the disc is uncut and anamorphic and offers Cantonese mono with English Subs for both films. Even if the pic quality is less than perfect it's spec-wise the best version(s) available. My only gripe is that I'm not keen on Executioners and you can't buy them seperately.

Thanks! :) I'm not as keen on Executioners either (too dark for its own good, IIRC) so may wait for a HK BD.

Thanks. HKL might still be preferable to the Fox then. If I can't get a trade I'll just have to wait for the eventual Cine Asia reissue.
