My work allows me 26 days off, plus 8 'fixed' holidays (bank holidays, public holidays etc).
If I work on a fixed holiday, I can choose to take an additional day off any time I wish.
Ive got 12 days left to take... I'm taking 10 in November (visiting India) and 2 during the festive season.
How many days off are you allowed to take?

Damn... it must suck having a steady job...
I really hope I'll be kinda my own boss when I'm done withs chool. Perhaps work at home as an illustrator or something...
...or maybe try acting...
Actually, I just wanna be at home with the kids... (if I have kids) and just sit in the sun or watch some movies or play games or whatever. I'm really not looking forward to traveling each and every day for the rest of my live to do a job which has little meaning in this world anyway...
Maybe the secret service is still hiring people...
Anyway, to anwer your question: I have no idea, mate. Sorry.

Re: How many days off are you allowed to take?
Nice, by law everyone in Norway should have 25 vacation days. Not counting "official holidays" of course (and there are too many of those to count)... In addition, Easter-Wednesday is usually a half day, 24th and 31st of December is usually a half day aswell. For my part those are free, so I'm up to 26.5 daysBiscLimpkit wrote:My work allows me 26 days off, plus 8 'fixed' holidays (bank holidays, public holidays etc).
One problem with this. The Kids are at kindergarten/school/don't wanna hang with dad...Yi-Long wrote:Actually, I just wanna be at home with the kids... Well, when I worked in the Welsh Assembly (which I don't now cause I'm on a 1 year Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand!!) they got 27 days plus 10.5 privelege days (i.e. bank holidays etc.) So that made 37.5 pre year.
Of course if you worked your way high enough in the civil srevice and became one of the minister people you get 80 days off in summer, something like 4 weeks at christmas... or something like that... b@stards.
