For someone, who normally doesn't find blondes hot. I find her hot. Partly because she's feisty.

Good Diaz performances (newest to oldest)

2004 Shrek 2
2001 Vanilla Sky
2001 Shrek
1999 Being John Malkovich
1998 There's Something About Mary

I'd only rate her performance in There's Something About Mary as very good though (perfect comic timing). She's like Jennifer Aniston, she relies too much on her looks and takes lazy choices. I think (but it's been so long, so I won't count it) she's good in: A Life Less Ordinary too.

I looked those up on IMDB. I'm allowed to do that right Salty or am I lying again?

So instead of acknowledging you maybe wrong and I have actually seen the films I mention, you resort to childish remarks? Right okay.
They aren't childish remarks, they are what i truly believe.

bradavon wrote:You don't know my level of intelligence (or lack of it), just like I don't know how good a parent you are to your kids. I could make an assumption you've taught them it's acceptable to be childish and continue pointless arguments, calling people liars and stupid who you don't know from Adam, just to give your ego a boost but I don't know. So that's naturally an assumption.

you'll never get that spot on countdown you covet.

I found it boring the first time, but it improves with subsequent viewings, it's a grower.

Anyone seen Very Bad Things? I've seen it on TV a couple of times and it's not bad, it's got Cameron Diaz in it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0124198/

But there's some controversy about the black and white scenes because they have a lot less detail/definition than the last BD release.

The Cable Guy: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film3/blu-ray_ ... lu-ray.htm

I think I might get this sometime, my R1 DVD is a very early release with fairly poor picture and sound. I didn't know it was originally going to be Chris Farley either!

I think I might get it too, my R1 is probably the same as yours Gas.
No need to get it yet I think, I doubt the price will increase dramatically after March 1.

Hey,

Has anyone got the El Mariachi/Desperado US Blu Ray?

I've read lots of reviews that say El Mariachi contains a "Spanish" sound track, but is it the same Latin American Spanish track as the previous DVDs? I understand Mexican and European Spanish sound different :?

I don't see any reason why Sony would replace the original sync sound Spanish with a newly dubbed Spanish track. Certainly not on a film as well known as El Mariachi.

I Liked Desperado when i first saw it but on a second viewing i was pretty underwhelmed. The director never really delivers for me,Machete being his latest "not as good as expected" effort.(though he only co-directed it)

Icon's reply to someone who complained about the incorrect aspectb ratio on Buried

"Dear David,

Thank you for your email regarding Icon’s release of Buried on DVD & Blu-ray.

We take great pride in our DVD and Blu-ray releases and always do our
utmost to ensure that they are of the best possible quality.

Unfortunately at the time we commenced authoring of the UK release of
Buried we could not gain access to a 2.35 ratio HD master from which to
author the Blu Ray release. In good faith we moved forward with our 1.78
however learnt too late that a 2.35 HD master had subsequently been made
available. It is Icon’s policy to release Blu Ray in its original
theatrical ratio wherever this ratio is available to us and we have now
tightened up internal procedures to ensure that a situation such as this
cannot recur.

We share your disappointment at not being able to release this film in its
original ratio and can only apologise for any frustration or
disappointment this may have caused.

Icon Home Entertainment"

what the fuck! they couldn't get a proper aspect ratio master of a major 2010 cinema release  what utter bollocks
