It's taken me yonks to come around to the idea of paying a tenner a month for it. I always knew it was excellent. Bills aside I don't pay for any monthly services (i.e - Freeview is fine). Well except for my mobile phone.

That's what 'offline mode' is for, duhhhh!!

Offline mode is a little odd because 100% of songs played in Spotify, whether it's Spotify Free or Premium are cached (Vista/Win7 C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage). It's just you can only access this cache without an Internet connection, if you have Spotify Premium and have chosen to choose "Offline Mode" on the Song/Playlist/Album.

I'm sure the Cached Storage folder (for Offline Mode) is also the same too. A file that has been marked as "Offline Mode" must be flagged to allow you to access it without an Internet connection. It would be easier to ditch Offline Mode and just allow you to access any file previously cached, if you've got a Premium account.

Neither can you with MP3s. Where are you getting new MP3s from without Internet access? Your ass perhaps?

If you had no Internet access period, you'd have to resort to CDs but that's gotta be a WTF scenario surely? As in WTF the world is exploding around me .
