Hmmm... why? I mean the fact that you think you have nothing interesting to say about your life is an interesting topic in itself. Why do so many people think their life is not interesting to other people?

IMO there are far too many useless blogs out there.

"This morning I ate a muffin..." Who cares ?! Get a life, loser ! :D

EDIT:
*Finds out that LD is a Bud Spencer / Terence Hill fan*

OK, I take it back. I did learn one interesting thing from your blog.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

He he he! I'm an ultimate fan of the two. You know where the two have their biggest fan community? In Germany, lol! I don't know why they aren't THAT popular elsewhere. They just rock, he he he!

As for the muffin... lol, you're right about that. I hope my blog will never get to such a low level.

They're very popular in France as well. Most of their movies are available on DVD over here. Dubbed, of course.

I like reading your blog. :)

Doesn't make me want to start my own, though.

Hey, I only watch their movies dubbed. I doubt they'd be as funny in their original language.

Thanks for reading my blog. I'm happy that you like it. (Just updated it, btw.)

And I absolutely understand you don't wanna start your own. Man, get your house and DVD collection together again. How is everything right now with you?

I just feel I have nothing interesting to say about my life.

I can talk here about movies and vent my spleen on the topic dujour but when it comes to what I do offline... YAWN!!

I don't see why anyone would care...

The problem with bloggers is that they usually fall into two camps:

1. People who are boring and thus insult you with the notion that you should take the time to read about their excruciatingly ordinary lives or...
2. People who are exciting and thus insult you by rubbing your nose in it because you have a much lesser existance than they...

i am currently doing...

3 blogs, 2 picture diaries.... and you ain't getting the links to any of them :D

to explain i have the different blogs to record different things, i'm not interested in anyone reading them until i die so they are all under different names/ hidden well and only a couple of people are aware of how to find them should the need ever arise...

These are two interesting points. But do you mean they actually insult you, or just that you feel insulted because they have an exciting life and you don't? Because personally, I never expeirenced being insulted by a blogger and I hope I never insulted anybody out there. Well, that's if you would call my life exciting anyways, lol. :)

FEEL insulted. If someone is detailing their exciting exploits and you're sitting on your arse at a PC with the curtains drawn... you feel like a tit without milk (ie. useless).

IMO reading blogs is a waste of time. Writing them is an even bigger waste of time, unless it's part of a strategy to get money (eg Kevin Smith published a book containing his blog entries and it's selling well. Peter Jackson's King Kong video diary is being released on DVD and the fools are sure to lap that up).

I don't give a fuck about what some halfwit teenage girl from Ohio (who's spelling abilities makes Romero seem like a wizz.) is listening to on her iPod, or some 30-year-old nerd who still lives at home sulkings about how he can't get laid and that how his best friend is his mum.

I like to read forums, there I can find topics that interest me. If I want someone's personal drama, I'll watch a movie or TV show (and not fucking reality TV, thank god Lost and Desperate Housewives are killing that shit genre in the US ratings!).

SOME blogs are entertaining, I'm sure, and many are not...
Personally, I never really bother with either reading or writing them. I'm not having a very remarkable life, not many good things happening, and if I DID have an interesting life, I wouldn't really have the time or interest to write it all down...

However, there are a couple of entertaining blogs out there, and occasionally you come across one... but I'm not the kind of person who would check it regularly.

I would consider doing a blog if I would mix it with doing reviews and shit. So I could talk about my day in Amsterdam, in which I visited a cinema, and saw a movie, and then do a lil review of the movie, etc. So, in that kind of way, I could envision myself doing it... but at the moment, with school and shit going on, life is hardly worth living, let alone writing it all down. :)

Well, as I state in my blog, I am mainly writing there in order to sort my thoughts. I mean, I could just as well write it onto a piece of paper, but where am I going to store all these papers? Do I actually need to store them or can I just throw them away? I mean I wouldn't go back and read my first few posts... that's what I thought. I recently found a very old blog entry of mine and damn... my English sucked even more than it does now, lol.

In my last entry, I wrote about why 'The Big Boss' is my favourite Bruce Lee-flick. It was good to re-think about it, because that made me edit the review I wrote for my book.

I have to agree with Mark and LD, both at the same time.

Most blogs are a complete waste of time but some can be surprisingly good.

Can you? I've not seen Mark throw in any Scottish-English words, right?

And your first language is what? BUSTED! :D

p.s - Does anyone still speak Scottish? Surely it used to exist?

Isn't it interesting and fascinating how movies can change a person's life? I watched 'Million Dollar Baby' two nights ago. It's a great movie, but I had to stop watching it after an hour, because I got this sudden urge to do some training. I put on my sports clothes, loaded the 'Rocky' soundtrack onto my MP3-player and went running at 4 o'clock in the morning.

I think the Scots dialect (not the same as Scots Gaelic) does still exsist but not many people speak it. ;)

For instance "I dinna ken" means "I don't know" (I think it does) ;)

Of course I was just kidding...

Yes, English is my first and only language.

I don't even use much slang in my own backyard nevermind on forums...

Right, lol. That's actually a local expression from my area. Various regions in Scotland have differing colloquialisms, and all are very active. If someone from England came up here they would find some dialogues indescipherable. Dundonian is quite gutteral sounding, whereas Glaswegian is sing-song-ish. Mind you even the worst Scots accent is less atrocious than Liverpudlian. 8)

Thankfully you didn't see the whole film, otherwise you'd be running down to the hospital to euthanise terminal patients.

I know... and if you read my blog, you'll note that I watched 'Rocky' the next day. Not just like that, though, but because I had finished watching 'Million Dollar Baby' and it was less motivating, lol. :D
