Anyone else catch this? Just watched the UK Blu and enjoyed it a lot!! The filming was very reminiscent of 90's new wave/Wuxia but crossed with the story style of the early 70's matial arts films, a bit of 80's effects movies (Zu) and a very fresh modern twist! Quite a package. Daniel Lee may not make films everyone likes or accepts, but he makes exciting action and a creative tallent I admire!!

I usually expect the worst from Danny Lee's films these days so only got round to catching this on rental last night, but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely captures that 90s Wu Xia vibe and probably the best action film Lee's done since What Price Survival. The UK Blu-ray is a fucking travesty though, possibly the most extreme artificial sharpening I have ever witnessed on any HD format (I assume the HK BD suffers from the same problem?). :o
