Given it's a 3 disc release. I'd be amazed if it's going to go any other way.

Disc One: Theatrical Cut
Disc Two: Cut & Dubbed western release, with voiceacting by Jonathan Ross in all parts...
Disc Three: Brett Ratner interview, and movie stills.

Day 1 must-buy for sure! ;)

Will the limited to 5000 version come with lots of LE stuff? Or is it saying there will be 5000 blu rays only?

Hmm yeah there only seems to be one Blu-ray version available to pre-order, maybe they'll then sell a standard version once those ltd ones have sold out, rather than offering both for sale at the same time.

Thanks Hung. I'd already confirmed it but it's good to see more details.

I cannot find it for less than £14.99. I'm definitely getting this but I'll wait for the cheaper regular edition. I've no interested in LE stuff.

can i ask why? the limited edition can be had for the paltry £14.99...how much cheaper do you think the regular edition will be? it's a 3 disc BD for fuck's sake.for enough if the LE was £30 + but £14.99...i bet you walk 2 miles to save 3p on a pint of milk.Mind i remember the Stranger Than Fiction CEX saga where you spent £4 on bus fare to get 40p for the dvd and then realise it's normal behaviour.

It's not the price for me... it's just I don't like overstuffed packages when the film (and extras) on a disc (or three) will do. I don't need tins or fold-out posters or key-chains or bumper stickers or location maps, etc...

why'd you buy it in the first place?Unless The BR release comes in unusual packaging (10,000 copies btw not 5,000) it'd be a case of chucking away the slipcase, booklet etc and you'd be left with lusted after regular edition that's going to cost the same price anyway!

i've ordered it and i truly don't care if they send me the LE or the regular version.personally i think 3 discs is overkill,i'll only watch one version of the movie and won't watch the extras.

Salty's link above says it's 10,000 copies.

I too find LE stuff annoying (i.e - not regular size tins) and as most new releases are round the £15 mark, I prefer to wait for them to go down in price. £15 isn't cheap enough when I cannot afford it to start with.
saltysam wrote:personally i think 3 discs is overkill
Probably but the two cuts differ enough to be included. It's nice to have both cuts. I'd be just as happy with either. The essence of the film is there in either cut. The Extended cut (is it really the DC?) is largely pointless but it doesn't significantly hurt the film either.
