Why did I think of Kato when I saw one guy in that trailer? :D He looked Bruce in "The Green Hornet", IMO.

Andrew Lau made the Young and Dangerous movies, right(those need a DVD-release btw). I loved those.

This looks pretty good, action wise, yet at the same time a bit OTT eand ridiculous, so could go any way :) I'm just glad asia is making martial arts flicks again :)

You're not wrong - but I confess, I'd mostly given up looking out for new HK projects. Too many films not coming out over here / poor home releases, and too few films to get really excited about.

It's really over the top, but I really like Sammo's indie stuff.

Nothing like mainstream HK cinema.

One of the greatest thing is that Donnie is going back to action directing the movies he's starring in. This, The Lost Bladesman (a Guan Yu movie by Alan Mak and Felix Chong) and an untitled project directed by Peter Chan which will begin production this August. I think the movies (apart from the Ip Man movies) he only acts in doesn't really have as much energy and drive as far as action goes but when he acts and action directs, things just starts to explode.
