Hahaha brilliant. Much better titles I think, especially for I-Robot.

I read an Empire issue where they discussed mad title changes. I think the Japanese titles are meant to be radically different, due to the translation or something...

Yeah, the Chinese title for Hard Boiled translates as something like "Hot handed God of Cops"

What does the tagline of Shanghai Noon mean Tom?

"An Adventure in the country where the rising sun sleeps"

close... :)

An adventure in a country where the rising sun sets.
(which is a stupid pun about Owen Wilson saying "The sun doesn't rise here, it sets here").

Oh yeah, se couche in this contect of the sun means sets. D'oh! My bad :D
It usually means to go to bed or sleep (I think).

Litterally: Se coucher -> To lie down.
We also use it to say: Go to bed / Go to sleep.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

" Se dormir " does not exist... :D
But you're close, it's " s'endormir ".

EDIT: "Dormir" = To Sleep.
