You'll laugh... but mine is WATERSHIP DOWN(!)
And it's a 'U' certificate.
Seriously, I saw this as a kid and it freaked me out. Little bunnies bloody and dying. Christ, I would never show this to my kids. It should be a '15' I'm not joking, it's well disturbing. And here's the kicker: I STILL can't watch it. It's the only film I cannot bear to watch that's how much it traumatised me. So parents out there beware!!

For me it was probably Hellraiser which I watched when I was about 8 years old... Scary as hell! But now I'm immune to horror films - they don't even make me jump. I must be well 'ard!

I think i'm going to have to agree with romero on 'Irreversible'. The rape scene in that movie was just painful to watch. (although that's the whole point, and its good that the rape is depicted as horrible as it really is)
As a whole, i thought it was a good film with alittle more merit then pure exploitation.. but i will not watch it again.

When I saw Star Trek: First Contact in theatres (in 95) with my older brother I was a little bit frightened by the Borg, but far from leaping-out-of-my-seat-scared. I was 8 or 9 at the time.
I remember watching a 3-part British documentary series when I was 7 (in 94) on the evolution of man. They had these dudes dressed as upright-walking apes, I was frightened that apemen would get me in my sleep for about a week.
I'm immune to horror movies and games. Eg Scream was like a comedy to me.

Uhm, wasn't that the point of Scream?!
I don't think I've seen any really upsetting movies really - as I tend to avoid stuff like that... kind of detracts from the enjoyment of entertainment.
Though I guess Man Bites Dog would get an honourable mention, even though I think it never was "graphic".

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
