The cashback thread
Thought it might be good to set up a cashback thread for deals for sites like TopCashback and Quidco. All my links will be for the topcashback website. All my links also contain my referral ID as if you are a new user to the website, I see no harm in helping out other people by using their referral!!
I've found a couple of great ones where you actually can gain a bit of money from using them, so thought I'd share them, and hope others who know of other good deals can share them here too.
This current batch are all gambling websites where you can make at least your inital deposit back through the cashback, so you are basically being given a free chance to bet and win more money. Worst case (other than the cashback not going through for whatever reason) is that you lose nothing.
Bingos.co.uk - Create a new account, deposit and wager a minimum of £9 and you get a £20 cashback! So even if you lose your £9, you will still be £11 up when it pays out! This is one that tracked for me very quickly. So I got my girlfriend to give it a try too and has tracked for her as well.
Jackpotjoy - The cashback will be equal to your initial deposit between £10 and £50. So you'll break even if you lose all money, but you've got a chance to win money for free basically.
Jackpotcity Casino - Create a new account and deposit and wager £30. £40 is the cashback, so £10 profit.
Paradise Poker and Casino - Deposit and wager a minimum of £15 and get £35 cashback.

Re: The cashback thread
Ok, are there any specific offers/deals etc that you can post to help other people gain the same amount of money?
I've been on a gambling frenzy recently which while worrying as it is damn addictive and I've spent a decent amount of money, should give me an even larger amount of cashback should it all go through. Once all this gambling stuff goes through (assuming it does) I should have had about £350 or so cashback in total.
Jetbull - Another gambling site, that has a game that I've won an ok amount of money on - Card game, High Low Switch. Simply pick any of the three cards there and guess whether next card will be higher or lower. You can scrap the three cards there a limited number of times and get a fresh set. Once you've made one bet you can keep going with a cumulative pot, or cash out at any time. If you are sensible and take things slowly you can win an ok amount. Slow and steady wins the race! From a £13 deposit, I won about £40 quite quickly... of course I then went and lost about £13 of that, but my account is still about £27 up. The withdrawing procedures are a pain though - sending off scans of passport, proof of address, your card, and you must deposit £13.40 before you can withdraw. £15 cashback.

Re: The cashback thread
If you are on quidco you can some here, think when I went thru them a year or so ago I got well about £50 back, sadly the list is now tiny in comparison
but you should be able to get a bit back, a few quid at least.

Re: The cashback thread
Another gambling one that has tracked quickly for me:
BetFair - New account and deposit £10 for £15 cashback. I'd assume you need to bet that £10, or something like that otherwise people would be abusing this like nothing on earth! Deposit it then withdraw it without playing and get the £15 cashback... unlikely! Mine tracked within a day.

Re: The cashback thread
I must say I stayed away from most betting cashback deals, as a few went tits up and ended up loosing cash for me
which is a bummer. They were all Quidco gambling mind you, never tried them on Topcashback
may give some of them a go.

Re: The cashback thread
Well the ones that I can say from experience have tracked are: BetFair and Bingos.co.uk
Jackpotjoy and jetbull.com have both tracked but the value is currently saying £0, so hoping that will get changed soon. Have put in manual claims for all the others that I've linked to above that haven't tracked yet and that I've been waiting for for more than a week.
Editted in: Just realised I've not done the jackpotcity one even though I posted the link. Think the possibility of it not tracking was too risky a prospect for a £30 wager. If it was a tenner I would have chanced it.
Awesome deal here to make yourself a tenner and get a decent read:
Time Magazine - Get £10 cashback for signing up with the magazine. What's even better if you go to the Time Magazine site and sign up using the FREE TRIAL section, where you do not give any payment details, just get to try the magazine, then cancel at the end/during the trial period, you still qualify! My £10 tracked today and I signed up yesterday or the day before for the free trial. Easy £10.

Re: The cashback thread
I did not read the small print for some Gambling sites, and when you read it they say only cash back will be given if you have not already done a similar deal with one of our parent companies etc.. and as a lot of the gambling sites are owned by the same Big companies I could not get any cash back, gutted

Have you got Quidco, NO as you have said many times it is not worth your time and bother (unless you just lied over and over again and always had it).

Re: The cashback thread
Correct but that is different from what I quoted above. I said it's not worth my time, not that it was not worth the effort. Besides I barely buy any BDs/DVDs/CDs any more. Just the odd one every now and again.
I've always found cheaper Car Insurance from non-Quidco etc... sites than ones on Quidco but if you want it, good for you, knock yourself out.

Re: The cashback thread
So are deals like the Time Magazine one above where you get the magazine and £10 cashback for zero outlay worth the time and bother?!
If free money isn't worth it, then I don't know what is!

Didn't you hear Brad though-like he keeps on insisting on telling us at least 8 times a week he barely buys dvds/Bd/cd anymore so it's not worth his while...gasteropod wrote:Brad, I've so far got £82.36 on Quidco.

Re: The cashback thread
Some poeple are just ignorant and love tossing cash away, but then some of us work hard for a living so acctually hold value in cash.
£200+ this year for me from a few sites
it is just lovely having it set so that it pays in when it crosses £10, its like a payment every month from multiple sites
I am just gutted no one has Amazon anymore
they got the hump and dont want to be in any cashback scheme anymore, gutted!
