You wrote it as POP (presumably for emphasis), hence the acronym comment:bradavon wrote:Gas? -
bradavon wrote:7. Nelly Furtado - Folklore - Easily Furtado's best work. Lyrical, Raw and Powerful. I so hope one day Furtado will return to her more powerful edgier work, than the POP (which I still like) she sings today.

I think still their first, Everybody's doing it why can't I. Still they never did anything less that great work, so none I would say I dont really like.bradavon wrote:Which The Cranberries is your fave Romero?
Dolores O'Riordan's 1st solo album was good, I liked it, I have the second album (yes downloaded its not out for a few weeks) and so far its barley worth a listen so far, compared to her 1st album. May have to buy it soon as she may tour this album and I will go see her and need the album to get signed haha
Aerial a bit bland sadly.gasteropod wrote:Which album?romerojpg wrote:Or even Kate Bush, some really great songs, but a massive amount of awful ones on her albums, the last album of hers I got there was not even 1 good song on it.
Mind you I will admit I have rarley heard it since it came out, only a few times. So in theory all them songs may need a bit more playing to get into them, I just found not one song jumped out at me and I never went wow!, good work.

I thought that's what Gas meant but since when does using capitols mean an acronym? By that token Gas's entire signature is a long acronymShingster wrote:You wrote it as POP (presumably for emphasis), hence the acronym comment:
There isn't much difference unless you mean the Unplugged version?grim_tales wrote:I love Runaway by The Corrs (acoustic version)
If you prefer the first. I'd get her to sign that. I've pre-ordered it. I'm happy to wait until the CD arrives.romerojpg wrote:May have to buy it soon as she may tour this album and I will go see her and need the album to get signed haha

Yeah that one's a lot more subdued than her others, my favourite album of hers is The Dreaming, which is also her most crazy, followed by The Sensual World.romerojpg wrote:Aerial a bit bland sadly.

I love one of the songs near the end, where she's duetting and the guy says one of the words in a funny way. Furtado breaks into laughter. You can so tell it's "for real" and they decided to keep it on the album.romerojpg wrote: Nelly Furtado - Folklore - amazing album.

Re: Desert island artists
Brad I mean the one that isnt the Tin Tin Out/radio remix and has less drums (I think). Is that what you mean by Unplugged?

No I don't think you do. The Unplugged one is erm. Unplugged. Whereas I reckon you mean the Original version before it got "Tin Tin Out" remixed. There is little between the Original and that Remix IMO, except to maybe make it more polished.grim_tales wrote:Brad I mean the one that isnt the Tin Tin Out/radio remix and has less drums (I think). The Original version features on their debut album, the remix on the re-release of Talk on Corners, the silly blue version. It was added as it's the best song from their debut.
