It only looks to be 24 minutes. I'd see if you can track it down online, maybe You Tube.

is 24 minutes an issue? Wallace & Gromit are similar lengths and they are brilliant :)

Public Enemies: 3/5

It was OK, we all agreed it was fairly boring at times. Some of the shots looked cheap due to the digital camera used, and I didn't like some of the dreaded shaky cam.

Not when you add them up to a decent length worth paying for. I'd not pay near a tenner for 24 minutes.

Usually the Wallace and Gromit short films are packaged together, it's very rarely just 1 short you're getting. Shrek The Halls is just a shirt and probably funnier than Shrek 3 :D

in most circumstances neither would i.however in the case of the 24 minute sequel we are talking about here i'd pay the £4.91 delivered price from amazon marketplace.less than half this tenner you talk about !

£5 for 24 minutes sounds reasonable. And £10 for 48 min, £19 for 90 min, £38 for 180 min…

Kung Fu Panda (overall): 4.25/5

Great fun film IMO :D Really enjoyed it :) The final fight seemed rather like a junior version of Kung Fu Hustle.

Is it that much better than the UK disc? (if you know) cannot say I have heard of the J release yet.

Only bought 2 Japanese Blu Rays so far, Transporter 1 and 2 (mindblowing picture quality on part 2) and Uncut :D a few days after I paid for them, the french version (pretty much identical) halfed in price  gutted, tossed £20 away.

Ahhh :) see some of us pay for Transporter films :D

I never minded the look if Crow UK Blu Ray, it was still a an upgrade over the dvds if you want the grain haha, just not an impressive looking film to start with it seems but will be interesting to see how the J disc compares with the UK disc, the UK 1080i put more people off than anything, that did not bother me on any disc yet :) (yet) :D

Many argued about what it was :) no one ever found out for sure.

Still some images here for comparison, the standard dvd was pretty damn good suprisingly, so the Blu Ray really only does the grain some justice it seems.

As I said it will be interesting to see how the Japanese disc does thats for sure and how much more it pulls out of the darkness :D

Are you for real? You cannot equate price to minutes, that's just dumb.
HungFist wrote:The Japanese do follow this logic :cussing:
There is no logic to Japanese prices, other than to rip us off.
Shingster wrote:Isn't The Crow UK Blu-ray a DVD upscale?
I don't believe so. Those who have it say it's not too shabby. I've certainly read no actual evidence to back that up (like say the Traffic HD-DVD).

Many were put off by it being an EIV disc. I cannot blame them. Good disc or not I'd always be ware of an EIV disc.
