What I love about Blade Runner, no particular order:
1. The dystopian look
2. The ahead of it's time effects
4. The acting, it's nothing revolutionary but meets what is needed perfectly
5. All the cool and interesting characters
6. The fact it's barely dated at all, computers aside
7. The man vs. machine aspect, always an interesting thing for me
8. Roy Batty's amazing quote as
he dies
9. Many of the other dialogue is pure magic too
10. The fact it mixes Chinese and English, decades before Joss Whedon ripped it off. Something which is likely to come true
11. The fact it's never truly clear if
Deckard is a Replicant
I'm sure there are many other reasons. Blade Runner looks incredible. I just love the whole look of the film. Add in the dystopian feel and it's a winner.
Fair enough a few select forum members dislike it but put simply "you're the minority".

It's well documented Warner fucked Scott with the Theatrical Cut and he was rushed with the original Director's Cut.
Obviously the director's cut wouldn't be the Final Cut if it was made at the time but I'm willing to believe it's close enough to be the only version worth considering, although really it's pretty darn similar to the Director's Cut.
If you dislike the Final Cut, the Director's Cut isn't going to change your mind.

And? Your point was: "unjustly overpraised films in history"
Drunken Master 2 fits perfectly. On every single Hong Kong film fan forum ever, virtually everyone wanks over it so much they collapse. It's rubbish! I cannot think of anything about Drunken Master 2 I can praise.
p.s - Oh it's mildly more entertaining than Drunken Master.
