They may not have been able to get hold of them or knew they existed. There is so much Bruce Lee footage out there.

That's true - so much rare stuffs, different footage for different markets. I'd never seen the Mandarin ending of TBB before.

I doubt the real saw in the head scene exsists anymore, it was cut by the HK censor.
There's one where they show the fight but at the crucial moment, they just show a photo of the saw in head.

It could have looked fairly OK, if the blood was not so in your face cartoon quality
