Curtis is an excellent writer but sadly a mediocre director. It's a shame it's got the directors bug, as he really should stick to just writing.

:D . What does it say?

Yes, that's precisely why I haven't seen The Boat That Rocked at the theatre. IMO, it looks like a "wait until it's on TV" type of film.

Me too. Love Actually wasn't actually too bad but it had WAY too many stories. If they'd cut it down by half it would've been a lot better.

It's in Thai, but it's a warning against smoking ciggies.

Keira Knightly is lovely in it, more so than usual.

I enjoyed it except that scene.
Got my copy (codefree) today, only watched a few minutes but that specific scene is still intact.
PQ is pretty good, but theres are a lot of dirt and scratches visible. The original (?) Cantonese track is only available in DD 5.1 while the English dub got the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 treatment.
55 screenshots (got a bit carried away during the training scenes... ):

Isn't the original audio mostly English?

The HK BD has the English soundtrack in TrueHD 7.1 as that's the original soundtrack. I'm sure it's mostly sync sound English.

It's the Cantonese which is the dub. Thanks for the info/captures Clueless Monkey.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to be released in a 3-pack along with Curse of the Golden Flower and House of Flying Daggers.
Sony has finally announced 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' for high-def release this July, though fans may only be able to buy it as part of a three-title Blu-ray bundle.

The on-again, off-again 'Tiger' was last spotted with a November 2006 Blu-ray release date, before Sony unceremoniously yanked the much-anticipated title from its release schedule.

Now, retailers have been alerted to July 14 Blu-ray release date for the 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Curse of the Golden Flower, House of Flying Daggers Trilogy' box set. This three-pack bundle will include a first-ever Blu-ray version of 'Tiger,' plus the stand-alone versions of 'Curse' and 'House' that the studio previously released on the format in 2006.

At press time, there has been no word from Sony as to whether a stand-alone version of 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' will be made available, but expectations are that it will be available outside of the box set. In any case, we'll certainly keep you posted.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $92.98.

That's good because I'd only want to buy that one out of the three.

That's a very good film. I have the R4 but hear the BFI release is best. It's expensive though.

Thanks though. It's a shame Enter the Dragon is very likely to only have a Cantonese dub.
