Easily the Savoy for me.
Isn't there a Fortune Star Remaster of this?

The Savoy is from the Fortune Star remaster.
Not perfect but an improvement over the HKL (and with original mono).
But TFE (too f**king expensive).

Shame because the much more affordable Joy Sales disc only came with very bad downmix mono and heavily DVNR'd image.

I know the HKL is squished, but does the Savoy look a bit streteched as well!

A new set of remastered subtitles on the Savoy disc that improve on HKL's and Tai Seng's translation.
Interesting differences levels-wise - HKL's are more cooler, but is otherwise poorer. FS's restoration is easily better.
I have both discs and used to have BBC2's broadcast.

Worth the upgrade?
Does the Savoy have the HK, English or German title card? The Savoy clearly looks better but I like the extras on the HKL such as Bey's commentary

Savoy has the HK credits. The only thing it's missing is the Golden Harvest ident, which I found annoying.

Think this is getting an Australian release soon.

HKL ports distributed by different companies (Universal first, then Magna Pacific).
