50p isnt any good really as the links at tyhe moment knock 1 pound off already

but will be nice to see if someone can find bigger ones, I know some people still use combos! and get away with it

I'm afraid it doesn't Grim. Try adding something to the cart.

This happened last time. It knocks off 20% but puts it back on when you add it to the cart.

I saw that and would use it but 50p is only 50p.

If DVD Times had managed to get £1 I'd use it instead of the current one. I would suggest this but they'll probably get annoyed for people not supporting them.

Mark are you seriously saying you won't buy from CD WOW unless you can knock a further £1 off? Even with £1 off their prices by and large CD WOW are still very good.

Personally I don't think we'll be seeing any better vouchers now CD WOW have clamped down on it.

There is a 20% discount link trick which I hear works BUT it requires you muck about with the CD WOW url (i.e - www.cd-wow.com/detail_results_2.php?product_code=19471) and thus is dodgy to say the least but is more than likely illegal.

If anyone finds this trick please don't post it on Bullets (the thread will be deleted). I've read a bit about it and it certainly doesn't look legal to me. I don't know exactly how it works mind you.

Using vouchers CD WOW created is one thing, this is another entirely!

Right down the bottom on the DVD Bargain site there's a link that should give you 3/4 Euros off CDs and 4 Euros off DVDs (at the Dutch CD-WOW).

I received an e-mail newsletter today from a new company selling CDs and Music DVDs. I've checked out their prices and they're even cheaper than CD WOW!

Their Music DVDs prices are nothing special but ALL prices are £6.99 (including pre-orders) making them 76p cheaper than CD WOW.

I've ordered a CD if I'm happy with the service I'll use them again.

They have Tracy Chapman's and The Corrs new albums up for pre-order at £6.99. If my order goes well I'll cancel my pre-order for Tracy Chapman and re-order from them.

For "Royal Bank of Scotland Germany" customers (seriously) you can get a 1 euro discount on CDs and 2 euros on DVDs:

From what I can gather you buy the goods and must get a refund afterwards as no voucher link or code is provided.

No, but obviously I'd like that little but extra same as everyone else. The item is £19.99 so £17.99 would be better than £18.99 wouldn't it? I have a £1 voucher but you can double up with links anymore so that's no good. The 20% off link was cool but that's gone. Again, I'm not saying I won't buy - I likely will - it's just I'd feel like a tit if I order tonight and tomorrow someone comes up with a discount I knew nothing about. That's why I asked here...

True Mark but you strongly implied in your statement you wouldn't unless you could get £2 off.

The thing is say you order and it transpires you could get another £1 off, for the sake of ONE order big deal IMO.

Normally I buy 1-2 a month-ish but I've bought about 6 this month (admittedly cheap) DVDs. Good thing I have lots of money in my bank account

I'm curious why you spend so much time on a film-oriented forum since you don't really seem to be bothered about films all that much. You talk about films infinitely more than you watch them. Are you saying that roughly speaking you'll only watch between 12-24 films this whole year??

I think Brad said somewhere that he had over 100 unwatched DVDs.

I only own about 100 DVDs and I think there's only two which I haven't bothered watching. Some Othello movie adaptation with Kenneth Branagh and Laurence Fishburne that my mum gave me to help write some English essay for school a couple years ago; and some boxing/crime thriller b-movie with Gene Hackman and a chick from Flashdance (and some yank lesbian drama show) that was given to me as a gift from someone.
