Heavenly Forest (Aoi Miyazaki)

Hung Fist asked me to make a frew screencaps from my HK-DVD. I'm posting them here, because maybe someone else will be interested as well. I have to say that I'm not a tech-expert like you guys (knowing whether a DVD is anamorphic usually gets me satisfied ^^), so I'll leave the interpreting up to you. Screenshots are done with Win-DVD (Default-Settings) and saved as bmp-Files.

So here they are:

And I wanted to see caps in case there would be edge enhancement

Big thanks for the caps, Dice.

Ah, I was thinking that since the film is so badly written, but Aoi Miyazaki looks so amazingly heavenly good godly cute in it that I could write an essay and five sequels about it, a HK dvd would be a good way to own it. But now I have to think again.

Does anyone have the R2 of this to compare with? The image is crap, true, but it might look just the same on the Japanese DVD. I know that I was very disappointed with my R2 DVD of Always - Sunset on Third Street.

It's possible that the r2j is that bad, but unlikely. The r2j DVD of Always is still no where near as soft as those grabs.
