Happy Christmas everyone.
I'm supposed to be at work today but some mates convinced me to go out and convinced me further to stay out until nearly 2am (it didn't take much convincing
). Needless to say I was in no state to go into work.
I wasn't really needed anyway, it will be completely dead. It has been all week.

...actually, thinking of it, I wouldn't even know myself what to use as search term...
Christmas is when you get the presents. That's today (yesterday for Eva, except that he lives so far away santa probably won't make it there until tomorrow...

Merry Xmas all. The days we celebrate the birth of baby Jesus, which spawned centuries of lies, clueless idiotic followers, pain, deaths, and just downright bullshit.
Anyway, not much planned this year. Home tonight, home tomorrow, and probably visit my girlfriend and family-in-future-law if the weather doesnt ruin the plans.
Havent bought anyone a present yet, so that should be fun. Not even my girlfriend. If I'm not online after the 26th, she has stabbed me and they have burried me.
Probably gonna watch some movies, if any nice ones are on. Probably play some GTA4 and Guitar Hero. Just lazying about, as usual. And I bought some chocolate nuts and we have some nice food in the house, so I'll probably comfort-feed myself a few extra pounds.

Didnt researches find he was born in april/may or something!? Something to do with that big star which led the 'wise men' to Jesus, which according to the researchers were 2 stars lining up and thus creating the appearance of a 'big' star.
Ah, who cares when jesus was born. The guy was a dick.

As I said, we (you and me, and some others) had this conversation last year.bradavon wrote:In The UK anyway we give presents on Christmas Day Hung. I guess you guys give them on Christmas Eve?
I hear some countries do that, weird Jesus wasn't born yet.
I opened my presents already... most of which I had bought myself (yes, we had this conversation last year, too
Anyway, merry christmas everyone.

Those wise men must have been pretty quick to be able to run after a comet....grim_tales wrote:Fair enough Hung, I didnt know that.
Bah, wasnt Jesus born in March/April anyway?Probably not December.
Some people think the star of Bethlehem was a comet.
Ah the bible is a load of BS anyway... for all we know they followed a drunken donkey. If they were so wise, why the hell were they roaming the country like 3 bums, instead of being at home with their family!?
edit: Anyway, I just spent christmas eve watching Brokeback Mountain, so that was a nice depressing way to start the holidays...(!) -sniff-

No didnt celebrate Sinterklaas. As a kid, ofcourse we did, but the last few years we never do anything with Sinterklaas, and here with my mother and her husband, we will just eat together tomorrow and that's pretty much it for Xmas celebration here in this house. We really arent 'close' like that, and I'm sure that's mostly my doing, cause I'm pretty much a moody loner. Think Jack Dee, only less happy.
When me and my girlfriend have a family, I do plan on spending 'quality-time' with her and the kids though. For me, Xmas is all about lazying around, watching cartoons and movies, eating lots of good stuff and candy, etc etc.
Sadly, nowadays it's mostly visiting other people, which I'm not into, but good job explaining to my girlfriend why I dont want to visit her on Xmas. So that's not really an option if I dont want her to bitch my head off about it, for the rest of my life...
When we have a family, I just wanna stay at home with them though. No visits, no guests, just relaxing and doing what we want.
I did receive a card today from my dad and his new family if we would like to join them 3rd Xmas day, but we wont.

I read somewhere he ate baby-panda's on a nearly daily basis.HungFist wrote:Really? How?Yi-Long wrote: Ah, who cares when jesus was born. The guy was a dick.
Also, he turned perfectly fine water into wine, got everyone drunk as hell, and those drunken bastards messed up the whole town!
Ow, and always with the 'dad-bragging'. He took the 'my dad can beat up your dad' thing to a whole new level.
Ow, and he could 'walk over water'. Yeah, me too. It's called skating, dick!
