Plot:Undercover investigators Honey and Bunny, also known as the Wild Cats, are investigating the mysterious case of the sweet idol that went full nude.
I think that plot alone justifies a topic... It’s a recent Toei film with gravure idols Reon Kadena and Yuuri Morishita and will be released on dvd September 21.
The title is epic win, but the trailer looks kinda cheap; somehow I doubt that the participation of a genuine hottie like Reon Kadena can save this movie from turning into an awkward mess. The last Japanese low-budget exploitation movie I fell for due to its incredibly colourful title was "The Girls Rebel Force of competitive Swimmers". With the exception of one pretty graphic lesbian scene (phew!) everything sucked: story, the gore, heck, even the girls looked kinda ugly (and they were definetely too old to pass for schoolgirls, hehe). Reon Kadena doesn't look ugly in "Wildcats in Strip Royale" the least bit, though.
If I was rich I'd buy the Toei release of Wildcats. I mean, listen to the plot synopsis "Undercover investigators Honey and Bunny, also known as the Wild Cats, are investigating the mysterious case of the sweet idol that went full nude.". Pure brilliancy!
